The narrow lot, typical of the city, is not maximized for footprint but intentionally constrained, preserving a vital sense of space—an unexpected generosity in a setting where every square foot is relentlessly claimed. The home’s asymmetrical roof boldly rejects the monotonous flat-roofed conventions of modern design, asserting its own unique presence in the skyline. Windows are meticulously arranged to invite natural light while offering refuge from the city, balancing exposure with privacy.
